Ground Source / Geothermal Heat Pump
Up to $750 per ton rebate
Fill out and mail in the heat pump rebate form
How to qualify:
Ask your contractor to do a Manual J calculation. A 70° design temperature difference must be used to size the geothermal system.
The installation of emergency electric resistance heat must be wired to a separate breaker.
Insulation levels of R-38 in the ceiling and R-13 in the walls are required.
Contact HVAC contractors of your choice to receive their bids. To be sure the system you choose meets the co-op's rebate requirements, either you or your contractor should contact Crawford Electric.
Your HVAC contractor will install the system and is responsible for its proper operation.
Call the co-op's energy management specialist to make an appointment for verification that your new system meets the co-op's rebate requirements. No rebate will be issued until the co-op has verified the installation.
